“I began a second career as a college instructor almost three years ago. Self-esteem issues from a painful childhood made it difficult to have the confidence needed to be an effective teacher. I tried months of regular hypnotherapy and used EFT regularly, but continued to struggle. I also did not seem like a good hypnotherapy candidate, because I do not go under very 'deeply' when being hypnotized. I began to think that I was not going to be able to follow this path of teaching after spending many years getting a master's degree in my field.

I began working with Lorie during this summer of 2014, and at first I was not sure how the 'stories' that I was coming up with under hypnosis were going to help my debilitating classroom insecurities. However, when the fall semester began I felt improvement in my ability to function well in front of a class of students. I continued to see Lorie for appointments during Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation, and Spring Break. By spring of 2015, I felt totally different about teaching compared to how I felt the year before.  I now feel much more confident, much less easily rattled, and much more able to be relaxed and be myself when I am teaching! I attribute my turn around solely to working with Lorie using the Integrated Imagery, because it was the only new therapy that I participated in during the time in question. 'Emotion Healing' is becoming such a cliché at this point in time that it is almost meaningless, but that's truly what I have achieved by working with Lorie. She has a very kind, supportive, understanding energy, and is very good at intuitively knowing what is needed during each session to bring about another layer of healing. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who finds themselves hampered by emotional damage and self-defeating behaviors.”
